My partner Haki and I attended the ( Te Piripoho) Wananga in Katikati last Friday.

We just wanted to reach out and personally thank Te O Wai for how amazing she was with us. I have never done something like that, and neither has my partner.

As a pākeha, initially I felt a little vulnerable about being dressed in a korowai. But it was instantly that Te O Wai made me feel comfortable, and more importantly confident. We were amazed at how quickly she was able to capture us and we’re so excited to see the finished product and share it online w friends and whanau!

Again, amazing amazing experience from us and we look forward to seeing you again once our pēpi is born in a few weeks time ♥️

Nga mihi,

Michaela and Haki
