Poihakena Portraits can help you raise funds for your group through Maori Styled Portraits.

We provide everything needed to create a Maori styled Portrait You host us, provide a venue and the find the whanau to book in.

At Portrait Days we offer 2 session types Te Poto (1-5 people) & Te Roa (6-10 people). Each sitting includes a styled portrait session with kakahu & moko stamps as well as 1 watermarked portrait sent via email. There is no pressure on whanau to purchase anything else.

• $50 from each sitting is deposited to your roopu bank account after the event.
• Easy to organise, all the bookings are done via the website you just provide the venue & promote the day to your networks to fill the sittings at your Portrait Day.
• You can make $600 just from finding 12 families to book in on 1 day.

We only accept a few portrait fundraiser applications each year and we have a few conditions.

• The kaupapa has to be whanau or tamariki centered with a Māori orientation.
• The event has to be open to everyone.
• The Portrait day must be promoted via your organisations facebook page, news letters etc.
• You need to have at least 10 sittings filled a month before your Portrait day. Your fundraiser may be cancelled if you dont fill enough sittings.
• An application must be completed and a signed letter from the principal / chairman or manager on letterhead for your organisation attached.
