Thank you to everyone who turned up tonight to recognise our NZ WW2 veterans exhibition at Fernz Cafe in St Marys. As photographers this is our first exhibition and it was fitting that we were able to present our NZ WW2 veterans on a wall in a NZ owned Cafe in Western Sydney.
Over the past few years we have been lucky enough to spend time with all these men, sadly we have also seen a few of them pass but we are so grateful for the opportunity to hear their life stories and capture their portraits as you see them today.
On behalf of Teowai and Myself i would like to acknowledge Greg Makutu for gifting us the opportunity to spend time with the boys and allowing us to do what we do. Thank you to
Brent Kerehona Pukepuke-Ahitapu for making the trip west and we hope you get well soon.
The Portraits will be hanging in Fernz cafe till the end of the month. Please drop and say hi to the girls.
Once again thank you to all who turned up.
Lest we forget.
